Speaking is great because there’s little to no cost to giving a presentation. It gets your brand out there and builds trust with potential clients.
While basically everyone is using social media, public speaking is a useful marketing tool because it gives people an experience. Here is what you need to be successful.
MAKE WHO YOU ARE TARGETING CLEAR
When giving a presentation or speech you need to be sure that who it is you’re trying to get, is in the audience. Depending on the size of who you’re trying to sell to, the venue that you choose could be small or a lot larger.
People will give you their attention and continue to give it to you if you have a well-written presentation and sound exciting. The content inside should continue to grasp their attention, but the title is what will capture them. Make the title seem interesting then the audience will want to follow your every word.
EXCELLENT SPEAKING SKILLS
You could have the best written presentation but the way you give it affects everything. The way you speak could either make the audience want to keep paying attention or boo you off the stage. If you talk with a flat tone and keep going on and on without getting to the point, your audience won’t keep listening.
Make sure that you actually give what you promise. Stay away from using false bait Don’t promise them something that you can’t deliver.
When you’re discussing your merchandise what you use to lure people in needs to be cool so that they actually want to come up to you. Not all people will really care about what you’re offering, so setting out items to help promote are a good way to get people listening as well. Try having things like CDs, books, or shirts.
